Fire Station 84

Ottawa Fire Station 84 is the home of a dedicated, energetic and skilled team of volunteer firefighters who are willing and ready to respond to the call.  A team of twenty six firefighters and officers respond to over 200 calls per year.  The station is equipped with a pumper-tanker for fire and MVC response, a squad for medical and support as well as a brush firefighting truck complete with a six wheeled ATV.

Twenty six men and women fill the various roles at the station.  The station captain has overall responsibility in the station and on the fireground.  Five officers report directly to the station captain.  Each officer has a specialty and a unique area of responsibility within the station.  He also has command of four firefighters.  Each firefighter is fully trained in every area of response: medical, motor vehicle collision and fire suppression.

If you have ever dreamt of being a firefighter, drop in for a chat during our Wednesday training and maintenance evening.
