Ottawa Fire Station 84 is the home of a dedicated, energetic and skilled team of volunteer firefighters who are willing and ready to respond to the call.  A team of twenty five firefighters and officers respond to approximately 85-100 calls per year.  The station is equipped with a pump-tanker for fire and MVC response, a squad for support as well as a brush firefighting truck complete with a four wheeled UTV.

Twenty five men and women fill the various roles at the station.  The station captain has overall responsibility in the station and on the fireground.  Four officers report directly to the station captain.  Each officer has a specialty and a unique area of responsibility within the station.  Each officer has command of five firefighters.  Each firefighter is fully trained in every area of response: medical, motor vehicle collision and fire suppression.
