The Corkery Community is excited to announce family ball hockey shinny this summer!
Everyone is welcome and it's a great evening of fun!
LOCATION:
Ball Hockey Shinny will be held at the CCA Community Center outdoor rink:
3447 Old Almonte Road
RR #2, Carp, Ontario
K0A 1L0
DATE AND TIME:
All ages are welcome and it will be held every Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:30/9:00 PM.
Begins on June 4th and runs till July 30th !
EQUIPMENT:
A stick of course is required, preferably a ball hockey stick. It is strongly recommended that all players, especially children wear protective equipment such as a helmet, shin guards and gloves.
RULES:
Depending on the ages of the players, restrictions will be enforced. If any ages under 12 are playing, slap shot and high wrist shots will not be permitted. As this is intended to be a fun, shinny game for all ages we ask that you play with caution--no high sticking and easy along the boards
REGISTRATION:
There will be no registration for this year's family ball hockey. Everyone who shows up is welcome to join the fun! Also, it will be held during other events and soccer games so family members who are interested can hop right into the action...provided that you bring your own stick!
LOOKING FOR GOALIES!!!
It is a lot of fun when we have goalies. If anyone knows any goalies that would like to come out and play, that would be great! Please send us an email if you are interested in being a goalie, that way we can coordinate to ensure that we have two goalies out each week.
