T-Ball
T-Ball
The Corkery Community Association is pleased to announce that the 2020 t-ball season will expand on the inaugural season. This year, the t-ball program will be offered to boys and girls age 4 – 7 in the Corkery community. The goals of this league include providing an introduction to the game of baseball and allowing the children to experience the value of teamwork. And of course the main goal will be to have fun! The emphasis will be on individual physical development of basic running, hitting and throwing skills by adhering to the guidelines provided by the Learn to Play program of Baseball Canada.
There will be one session per week on Mondays at 6:00 pm at the baseball diamond at the Corkery Community Centre. Each session will be 45 minutes to one hour in duration. The season will run from Monday, May 4th – June 29th. The cost of registration is $40 per child. All proceeds will be used to fund the purchase of equipment with any surplus donated to the Corkery Community Association.
There will be two groups which will run concurrently. Each group is capped at 24 children.

The Corkery Community Association will provide balls, bases and most importantly the batting tee.
Parents are asked to provide their child with a glove and batting helmet.
Coaches
If you have not yet done so, please consider getting involved as a coach. You don’t need to know the game; you just have to learn it faster than the children. If you’re not sure or would like more information, please email Jacob Milosek at jacob.milosek@hwllp.ca
