An update on the traffic calming measures along Old Almonte road was given at the Annual General Meeting on 12 March 2019 by Pierre Gravel. A summary follows:

Further to the speed board and pavement markers installed last summer on Old Almonte Road near the community park the City of Ottawa will be installing edge lines on portions of Old Almonte Road. The edgelines will provide additional guidance between the travel lane and shoulder. Further traffic calming measures will be considered should they be required.

The City of Ottawa collected data from the speed board last fall. A request has been issued with the city for information on traffic patterns. Once received the results will be made available to community members.
