The Corkery Community Association has the following venues available for rent at the Corkery Community Center.

Facilities

• Large Multipurpose Room - Capacity 120 (80 seated).

• Small Multipurpose Room - Capacity 20.

• Kitchen

• Skating Changeroom - Capacity 25.

• Outdoor Rink

• Soccer Fields

What to know when renting

• Renters must provide their own insurance. Insurance can be purchased using the link below.

• Renters must provide a deposit ($300) for damage and key card.

• Renters are responsible for any setup and clean up after the event. Renters are expected to return the room to the state it was found in.

• No Alcohol is allowed anywhere on the property.

• When renting you will receive a key card that provides access to the main door and the venue you selected.

• The CCA has the right to reject any rental request due to it's nature, the risk it might incur or availability of CCA personal to support.

Fees

Rental rates can be quite variable and are impacted by a number of factors such as the purpose, whether the rental is for commercial or not-for-profit, as well as the size and timeline of the rental. The following list provides the maximum hourly rental fee for each venue.  You will receive a quote for your rental after submitting the rental request form.

• Large Multipurpose Room - Up to $75 / hour

• Small Multipurpose Room - Up to $40 / hour

• Kitchen - Up to $32 / hour

• Skating Changeroom - Up to $32 / hour

• Outdoor Rink - Up to $X / hour

• Soccer Fields- Up to $X / hour

HST is not included.

Steps to Rent

1. Check the CCA on-line calendar of events to determine if your venue is available.

2. Fill out the on-line form. A response may take a few days for our volunteers to process.

3. If your request is accepted the following is required to complete the booking

   • Proof of insurance. If you don't already have insurance, it can be obtained through the City of Ottawa third party insurance provider. After signing up, select Carroll Homestead Park (Corkery Community Centre).

   • A damage deposit ($300) hold will be placed on the payment card, in addition to the rental fee.  This deposit will be refunded once the rental is complete and the venue was left in its original condition, no additional cleaning is required and the key cards have been returned.

   • Completed and signed rental agreement.

   • If the booking is made more than 60 days in advance, a 50% deposit is required with the remainder due 30 days before the event. If the booking is made less than 30 days in advance, full payment is required immediately.

   • Payment must be made via credit card, using our online payment form.
