T-Ball, September - October 2026
CORKERY T-BALL
The T-ball program will be offered to boys and girls age 4-7 in the Corkery community. The goals of this league include providing an introduction to the game of baseball and allowing the children to experience the value of teamwork. And of course, the main goal will be to have fun!
The emphasis will be on individual physical development of basic running, hitting and throwing skills by adhering to the guidelines provided by the Learn to Play program of Baseball Canada.
COST
The cost of registration is $50 per child. All proceeds will be used to fund the purchase of equipment with any surplus donated to the Corkery Community Association.
EQUIPMENT
The Corkery Community Association will provide balls, bats, bases and batting tees. Parents are asked to provide their child with a glove, water bottle and batting helmet. We ask that each item be labelled with the child’s name.
VOLUNTEERING
If you have not yet done so, please consider getting involved as a volunteer. In order to make the program successful, we really need a lot of great volunteers and coaches to get involved. You don’t need to know the game; you just have to learn it faster than the children. If we do not have a sufficient number of volunteers, we will not be able to run the program or the number of players and teams may need to be limited. We currently need coaches to make a 4/5 age group viable.
REGISTRATION
The 2026 season will run in September and early October. The sessions will be every Wednesday night starting September 2, through to and including October 7, a total of 6 sessions. Each session will commence at 6:30 and be one hour in duration. Registration will be open July 6 and will close on August 14. Early registration is encouraged to ensure that your child does not miss out!
